.Net Web Developer

We are looking for a talented Web Developer to fill a permanent full-time position in our Naperville office.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and testing web sites and web based applications.
  • Writing technical and non-technical documentation (requirements, design documents, etc.).
  • Providing customer support as needed.

Candidates must have the following qualities:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • The ability to interface directly with clients.
  • The ability to perform training on various customer deliverables.
  • Knowledge of the full development lifecycle.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • The ability to work both independently and with a team  

Key job requirements:

  • 1+ years experience developing on the .NET Framework using ASP.NET (VB.NET or C#) and ADO.NET.
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 4-6+ years web development experience.
  • Experience with web development languages and technologies including XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP, ADO, Visual SourceSafe, and IIS.
  • Database design and construction experience using SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, etc.

The following items would be a plus:

  • Experience building web sites integrated with a content management system (CMS).
  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Graphic design skills using PhotoShop, Illustrator, or comparable tools.
  • Familiarity and experience with W3C standards and accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience building solutions with the Sitecore Content Management System, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server or Microsoft Content Management Server.
