TeraU

The Advanced IT Program for Schools

TeraU is an accelerated, hands-on training program focused on technology, business, and employability skills.  Professional instructors, experienced in business skills and technology training, deliver TeraU.  Participants are taught in a hands-on, skills-based classroom environment.  They gain confidence and expertise by applying their skills to real business technology problems for actual business customers.  Students analyze problems, offer viable solutions, and implement those solutions under TeraU instructor guidance.

TeraU and Chicago Public Schools (CPS)

The TeraU program is currently in its fifth year of being delivered at

Wells Academy High School,

and has been delivered in four other CPS high schools—Austin, Collins, Prosser, and John Hope.  Training is held every day, Monday through Friday, on the school campus.

Participation is offered free of charge, thanks to a High Technology School-to-Work grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunities.
